Honeymoon Registry instead of a traditional wedding registry

Thursday, August 12th, 2004

If the groom and bride already have an established household, they might want to consider setting up a honeymoon registry rather than a traditional wedding registry. A honeymoon registry lists different parts of your honeymoon (i.e. airfare, rental car, spending money for food etc.) and allows your guests to help you pay for your trip.

Here’s some sites where you can create your own Honeymoon Registries:

Save your money: Off-Peaking wedding discounts

Wednesday, August 4th, 2004

The most expensive part of a wedding is usually the reception. Keep in mind that a lot of caterers, DJs and wedding halls etc. might offer rebates for Friday and Sunday receptions. They often book their Saturdays a long time in advance, but are just waiting for someone to book on the other days of the week. So what about getting married on a Friday evening or a Sunday afternoon instead - ask your suppliers which discounts they offer.
